Mahabinayak Breakfast Ride — More Than Just a Summer Spin

Some rides are planned for the destination.
Some become memorable because of the people who ride beside you.
What initially started as a short summer breakfast ride to Mahabinayak slowly turned into another beautiful reminder of what Odisha Nomadic Ethnos truly stands for — disciplined riding, shared laughter, safe journeys, and strangers becoming family.
And that is ONE.

With the scorching Odisha summer making long-distance rides difficult, the community planned a compact yet refreshing breakfast spin to Mahabinayak Temple. A nominal registration fee was collected from riders to comfortably manage breakfast, refreshments, and parking expenses for everyone — ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for the group.

The ride officially rolled out from Chai Biscuit Launchpad, Acharya Vihar, where around 15 riders gathered early in the morning with excitement, energy, and engines warming up for the day ahead.

Before the ignition, a detailed rider briefing was conducted by the community captain covering:

  1. ride route,
  2. pitstops,
  3. breakfast point,
  4. riding formation,
  5. safety expectations,
  6. and the roles of the ride lead, sweep, and marshals.

More importantly, first-time riders were introduced to the riding culture of ONE Community — where discipline and safety are always prioritized above speed or chaos.

Hand signals were demonstrated to ensure coordinated communication throughout the ride, helping create a smooth and disciplined riding experience for everyone on the road.

As always, safety remained non-negotiable:

  1. full-face helmets,
  2. full shoes,
  3. and proper riding etiquette were mandatory for all riders, while riding gears were strongly encouraged.

The route was carefully mapped by the Operations Team and efficiently coordinated with the support of the IT Team using the in-house developed “PackRide” application by Jyoti Bhai from ONE Community.

The application played a major role in ensuring route coordination and ride smoothness, showcasing how the community is not only growing socially but also innovating technologically for riders.

The ride itself was a smooth highway glide of approximately 65–70 kilometers. Maintaining disciplined single-line formations and an average cruising speed of around 80 km/h, the convoy moved steadily through the morning roads with synchronized precision.

A short refreshment halt midway allowed everyone to recharge over tea, coffee, and biscuits before continuing toward Mahabinayak.

As the group approached the hilltop temple area, bikes were parked neatly while monkeys casually roamed around the surroundings — adding a playful touch to the atmosphere.

Some riders headed directly toward the temple seeking blessings, while others stayed back capturing memories through photos, videos, and conversations filled with laughter.

A group photograph and rider introduction reels with their machines added even more life to the experience.

The journey then continued downhill toward the sacred Mahabinayak Temple — a place carrying centuries of spiritual significance.

What makes Mahabinayak truly unique is the presence of five deities worshipped together at a single place:

  • Lord Ganesh (Maha Binayak),
  • Lord Shiva,
  • Devi Durga,
  • Lord Bhaskara (Sun God),
  • and Lord Vishnu.

It is believed that no other temple follows this exact tradition.

Even more fascinating is the belief that these deities are “Swayambhu” — self-manifested forms that emerged naturally from the earth rather than being established by humans.

Listening to the history and spiritual significance of the temple created a calm and divine atmosphere for the riders. For a brief moment, the noise of engines transformed into silence, reflection, and gratitude.

And then came everyone’s favorite part — breakfast.

The convoy once again moved in disciplined formation toward Chandikhol for breakfast. Despite the heavy crowd and waiting time, the group patiently coordinated seating arrangements and eventually enjoyed a satisfying meal together.

The hot breakfast paired with authentic local sweets felt even better after a peaceful morning ride.

Like every ONE ride, it was never just about food or destination — it was about sharing those moments together.

As the ride came to an end, a final debrief session was conducted before the return journey. Since the captain had to head toward his hometown, a new ride lead was assigned to ensure the convoy remained smooth, coordinated, and safe until every rider reached home comfortably.

Because in ONE Community, the ride does not end until everyone reaches safely.

Later that evening, the familiar flood of photos, videos, reels, and memories filled the community groups once again.

But something felt different. The energy keeps growing.

Every ride.
Every event.
Every new member.

What began as a simple breakfast spin became another story of belongingness, camaraderie, mutual respect, and shared passion for the road.

As they say:
Keep doing good work, and good shall come to you.

Odisha Nomadic Ethnos continues to grow as one of Odisha’s emerging and fastest-growing travel communities — balancing adventure and fun with discipline, respect, safety, and togetherness.

Because beyond the machines, beyond the routes, and beyond the destinations…

It is the feeling of being part of ONE that truly makes these rides special. 🧿

ONE FOR ALL — ALL FOR ONE.
